PATERNITY

In Travis v Contico International, Inc., 928 S.W.2d 367 (Mo.App. E.D. 1996), the proper party to represent the decedent in a paternity action is the personal representative of the decedent’s estate. This is particularly applicable to establish the paternity of two alleged children of the deceased putative father/employee. A Circuit Order of Paternity is insufficient.
