Insurance Subrogation

The Evans & Dixon Insurance Subrogation group's extensive experience in trials, mediation and arbitration has resulted in the recovery of hundreds of millions of dollars on behalf of insurance companies. For nearly 20 years, our attorneys have been devoted to building one of the most successful property subrogation practices in the Midwest.

The Evans & Dixon insurance subrogation group is primarily focused on subrogation and recovery of property claims for firm clients throughout the country. Our attorneys handle cases involving product liability, fires, explosions, employee dishonesty, workers' compensation, water losses, contract and construction matters.

Our group of experienced attorneys combats common pitfalls to recovery including spoliation of evidence by providing thorough, early and on-site investigations leading to greater subrogation recoveries. We keep our clients informed and involved throughout every stage of the subrogation process.

The Evans & Dixon subrogation group knows that the best results for our clients come from excellent communication and extensive subrogation and trial experience. In and of themselves, catastrophic events cause major disruptions to manufacturing, distribution, administrative, customer service and other essential business operations. When losses are the fault of third parties, the resulting disputes and delayed payments can have significant, negative financial effects on insurers and threaten the viability of their insureds. Also, throughout the years, the subrogation group has assembled a network of experts to provide a “rapid response” team for large property losses involving fires and other catastrophic events.

The attorneys in the Subrogation Group are frequent authors and lecturers for many organizations, including the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP) as well as bar associations and clients in the insurance industry.
