Mr. Tanner joined Evans & Dixon in 2026 as an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Council Bluffs office, where he focuses his practice on insurance defense matters. His experience includes handling cases involving personal injury, construction defect, and workers’ compensation claims. Joshua also brings a background in criminal law, providing him with a well-rounded perspective on litigation and case strategy.
Prior to joining Evans & Dixon, Joshua primarily practiced on the plaintiff side of personal injury and workers’ compensation law, while also building a criminal defense practice. He previously spent four and a half years with a firm before transitioning into the travel nurse staffing industry, where he spent the last eight years developing additional professional experience outside the legal field.

Outside the office, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife, their three children, and the family dog. When he’s not cheering on his kids or keeping up with family life, he enjoys traveling, hitting the golf course, diving into a good book, and staying active by playing recreational team sports with friends.
