Over the course of her career in the state and federal court systems, Ms. Stegman worked in diverse areas of law, specializing in the drafting of orders and court opinions, docket management, and the resolution of discovery disputes. While working for the U.S. District Court, Ms. Stegman worked on a full range of civil and criminal cases, including personal injury and insurance matters, state tort claims, breach of contract cases, and federal law cases involving civil rights claims, employment discrimination, ERISA, appeals from federal administrative agencies, Social Security, intellectual property, fair debt collection practices, federal securities laws, Fair Labor Standards Act, Federal Arbitration Act, and unfair competition. Her wide and varied legal experience at the highest levels of law in this environment has given Ms. Stegman a unique and valuable insight in making the most persuasive arguments for her clients.
In private practice, Ms. Stegman’s work has centered around probate and estates, medical malpractice defense, complex case management, discovery matters, motion practice, and appellate litigation. At home, Ms. Stegman enjoys landscaping, gardening, and old-house restoration.
