Mr. McArthur is an attorney in the Large Loss Subrogation practice group at Evans & Dixon, LLC where he specializes in fire and explosion litigation, product liability, commercial subrogation and catastrophic building fires. He has handled subrogation claims throughout the United States, ranging from smaller homeowner losses to large-scale industrial events.
Mr. McArthur has recovered tens of millions of dollars for his clients through settlement, mediation and judgment and his litigation experience is quite extensive, prosecuting thousands of subrogation claims including several multi-million dollar large fire losses. Additionally, Matt has organized and supervised hundreds of scene examinations, artifact inspections and lab examinations.
Mr. McArthur is an active member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the St. Louis Chapter of the Federal Bar Association (Executive Committee) and the National Association of Subrogation Professionals. In 2019, he became a member of the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI) and successfully passed the examination to become a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI). Mr. McArthur graduated magna cum laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia and received his law degree from the St. Louis University School of Law.
