As the World Health Organization has declared the spread of the COVID-19 virus a global pandemic, Evans & Dixon wanted to take the time to update our valued clients on our firm’s business continuity plan, and advise our network that the resources we have in place will prevent the virus from impacting business.
Evans & Dixon will remain open, and engage in normal business functions as we balance two imperatives: ensuring that we take prudent precautions to protect our employees, clients and vendors, while continuing our daily responsibilities in ways that are appropriate under the circumstances.
We are coordinating several response teams across our firm to monitor the spread of this virus so we can best support our clients and most importantly our team. Here are some of the proactive plans we have in place:
·We have the ability to leverage technology to deliver support for clients remotely.
·Designated personnel have been assigned to provide clerical support from home in case of closure.
·We are providing our team with up-to-date information to keep them informed, aware and protected throughout this situation.
·We have enhanced our contingency plan in the unfortunate event that any of our 7 offices close, and we are continuing to evaluate if or when those plans are to go into action.
·The firm's large client events and seminars have been temporarily postponed.
Ensuring the health and safety of the Evans & Dixon community is our top priority, and we are committed to communicating more information as it is available.
