St. Louis Small Business Monthly honored Evans & Dixon members Don Kelly and Joseph Rolnicki for being named to the "Best Patent Attorneys" list in the January 2019 issue. Both attorneys were nominated for being outstanding advisers for business owners in St. Louis.

Don Kelly has over 31 years of varied and balanced legal experience consisting of litigation and intellectual property prosecution.  Since 2004, Mr. Kelly has prosecuted patents for big and small companies and in the following technologies:  medical devices, engine components, food containers, fuel systems, industrial tools, optical coatings, packaging, laser metal deposition, refrigeration/AC systems, printed circuit boards and network security.  Mr. Kelly has overseen the entire IP portfolio for several clients, effectively acting as outside general IP counsel. 

Joseph Rolnicki is an intellectual property attorney, a mechanical engineer and a former U.S. Patent Office Primary Examiner.  Mr. Rolnicki has been preparing and prosecuting patent applications for over 30 years.  Mr. Rolnicki prepares and prosecutes patent applications for large, multi-national corporations, as well as for small to mid-size companies and for individuals.
