Mr. Pankowski's career started at Muehlenkamp & Murray in St. Louis, Missouri in 1974. In 1975 he became a partner in the firm Muehlenkamp & Pankowski, specializing in insurance subrogation law. Mr. Pankowski also represents real estate management companies and property owners in the area of landlord-tenant law and has represented various corporations in general commercial and retail collections. Since 1974 he has established himself as the foremost practitioner of subrogation law in Missouri. His experience in the area of subrogation work has included property damage, bodily injury, workers' compensation, and fire loss.
Mr. Pankowski has lectured to several insurance companies regarding the area of subrogation law in Missouri and has assisted in the implementation of efficient procedures allowing insurance companies to maximize the profitability of their subrogation units from case analysis to claims collection.
He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the St. Louis County Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitian St. Louis, the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP), NARCA, and the General Bar. He is also the former President of the St. Louis Apartment Association. Mr. Pankowski is also a member of The National Law list and the Columbia Law List.
