RESCUE WORK

In Anders v A.D. Jacobson, Inc., 972 S.W.2d 612 (Mo.App. W.D. 1998), even though not his job, an injury while attempting to extricate a trapped man from under an air conditioning unit was work-related. An employee’s attempt to rescue one placed in harm’s way by virtue of the employment conditions created by the employer and under which the employee is then operating, constitutes a continuation of the performance of the duties of the employment.
