Ms. Phillips is a member of Evans & Dixon, having practiced Illinois Workers’ Compensation defense exclusively at the firm since October 1981. 

Her practice includes the defense of employers against claims for workers’ compensation for workplace injuries resulting in physical or mental disability under the Illinois Workers' Compensation Act.   

Ms. Phillips regularly appears at dockets throughout Southern and Central Illinois on behalf of insurance companies and self-insured employers. She has extensive experience in handling all aspects of workers' compensation litigation in Illinois.

She has spoken at seminars, conferences, training sessions and business meetings regarding legal issues related to the Illinois Workers' Compensation Act as well as the Act’s practical application to employers. 

Ms. Phillips belongs to the Illinois, Missouri and American Bar associations.

Interests and Community Involvement:

Ms. Phillips has served as a board member of ABLE, a program for gifted children; a victim advocate for Call for Help; a Girl Scout co-leader; and, a board member of Tri-Lakes Humane Society.  She is a member of Winstanley Baptist Church and the Marquette YMCA.
