Ms. McCarthy is an attorney in the Civil Litigation Group at Evans & Dixon, LLC, where she specializes in matters of insurance defense, conducting initial coverage analyses, taking examinations under oath, and litigating coverage disputes.  Ms. McCarthy also regularly defends insureds in auto crashes and premises liability actions. 

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. McCarthy had a successful practice litigating complex family law matters at one of the area’s most prestigious domestic firms. This unique background, whereby Ms. McCarthy gained considerable expertise in background investigations and forensic document review, has proved invaluable to her insurance clients, providing her a clear edge in evaluating the validity of claims, while doing so in a manner affords insureds the respect they deserve and expect.

Ms. McCarthy continues to maintain a portion of her trial practice in domestic matters including divorce, complex property divisions, modifications, maintenance (alimony), custody, paternity and guardianships.

Regardless of whether her client is an insurance company or individual, Ms. McCarthy is committed to relentlessly pursuing excellence with cost-effective results.
