Mr. McBride currently focuses his practice on a variety of Civil Litigation matters including insurance defense, personal injury, premises liability, subrogation, retail and commercial collections, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act defense as well as Workers’ Compensation matters.
Mr. McBride received his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma City University majoring in History and Political Science and, in 2006, obtained his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University before returning to his home town. Throughout law school, Mr. McBride focused his education on trial practice as a member of the Moot Court Society and serving as defense counsel for the Association of Trial Lawyer’s of America trial advocacy team.
Prior to joining Evans & Dixon, Mr. McBride was an assistant prosecuting attorney in Greene County, Missouri. While at the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office Mr. McBride specialized in the prosecution of property and white collar crimes. During that time, Mr. McBride gained valuable trial experience and obtained favorable verdicts on a variety of criminal cases to both judge and jury.
Mr. McBride is a native to Springfield, Missouri and is pleased to be practicing law in his hometown. His wife, Heather McBride, is also an attorney in Springfield. Mr. McBride enjoys being involved in the community through the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, Springfield Claims Association, Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, and Greater Ozarks Pachyderm Club events. In his free time, Mr. McBride enjoys the outdoors through camping, hiking, running, softball and golf as well as experiencing unique weekend getaways throughout the Ozarks with his wife.
