Mr. Jepson is a member in the
firm’s workers’ compensation practice group.
His practice is focused on the defense of employers against claims for
workers’ compensation benefits from workplace injuries resulting in physical or
mental disability under the Kansas and Missouri Workers’ Compensation Acts.
Prior to joining Evans &
Dixon, he practiced in employment and civil litigation defense, where
he represented employers before the Kansas Human Rights Commission, Missouri
Commission on Human Rights, and the Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission. Additionally, he gained
valuable courtroom experience and successfully tried felony cases as an
Assistant District Attorney in Wyandotte County, Kansas.
He is a member of the Kansas Bar
Association, The Missouri Bar, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and Johnson
County Bar Association.
Mr. Jepson is active in youth and
high school sports as an official in football and basketball, and is an avid
fan of Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs, and Sporting KC. He also enjoys travel and spending time with
family and friends.
