Prior to joining Evans & Dixon in 2001, Ms. Lockhart served as an assistant attorney general in the Missouri attorney general’s office, defending the Second Injury Fund and workers’ compensation claims against state agencies. She has handled Workers' Compensation matters in the agriculture, forestry and fishing, automotive, construction, education/schools, government, manufacturing, medical/health care, retail trade, services, transportation and wholesale trade industries. Her case experience includes amputations, assaults and violent acts, back injuries, body system injuries, bruises and contusions, carpal tunnel syndrome, chemical burns, contact with objects and equipment, cumulative trauma, cuts and lacerations, falls, fatalities, fractures, harmful substances or environments, head injuries, heart attacks, lower extremity injuries, multiple traumatic injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, neck injuries, permanent disability, pulmonary disorders, respiratory conditions, skin diseases/disorders, sprains, strains, breaks, tears, tendonitis, transportation incidents and upper extremity injuries.
Ms. Lockhart is a member of the American Bar Association and the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association. She has spoken at various seminars both by Evans & Dixon and other sponsors.
Ms. Lockhart serves as Chairman of the Springfield Regional Economic Partnership, is active with the Springfield Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the board for Kids' Chance in Missouri. She also is a chapter advisor for Alpha Delta Pi sorority and a board member of Alpha Delta Pi House Corp. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies and spending time with her family, friends and dogs.
