Kirk A. Kaczmarek joined Evans & Dixon in 2024, having entered the practice of law in Springfield, Missouri in 2021. He works primarily in business litigation and as corporate counsel. Mr. Kaczmarek routinely represents businesses in court regarding contractual, real property, and employment disputes, and also advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters including compliance, business formation, and employment law. Career highlights include the dismissal of federal claims involving alleged cash contributions exceeding $10 million, and negotiating the settlement of claims in Missouri amounting to $500,000. Kirk is licensed to practice law in both the State of Missouri and the federal Western District of Missouri.
Mr. Kaczmarek obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he focused on business and regulatory law. Additionally, he served as Articles Editor and Assistant Managing Editor of the Richmond Journal of Law and Technology, which ranks among the top five most cited law and technology journals in court opinions. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington and Lee University, double majoring in Politics and the History of Science. While at W&L, Kirk was a founding member and Treasurer of the undergraduate Moot Court Team, a member of a conference champion football team, an All Conference track & field athlete, and the host of a local radio program.
Mr. Kaczmarek is a native of Springfield, Missouri. In his leisure time, Mr. Kaczmarek enjoys playing golf, working on the family cattle ranch, following the NFL, and spending time with his family.
