Mr. Simon practices
primarily in the areas of business law, including business start-ups,
acquisition and disposition of business assets, business dissolution, real
estate law, corporations, securities law, contracts, estate planning, probate,
wills and trusts. Prior to joining Evans
& Dixon, L.L.C., Mr. Simon was the founder and principle of Simon Law Offices.
Mr. Simon is a frequent lecturer and has presented on real estate and technology in real estate
for The Missouri Bar. He also lectured on
estate planning for the 2014 Missouri Bar’s Annual Estate and Trust Institute.
He is a graduate of the Columbia Chamber of
Commerce’s Leadership Columbia class. Mr. Simon has been active with the Columbia,
Missouri United Way, the Salvation Army and Rotary Club.
Mr. Simon successfully
defended an estate matter from the trial court to the Supreme Court of

Dan is married to Susan
and keeps busy with four children, playing golf, soccer, softball, skiing and
spending time with extended family in Kansas City, watching the Royals, the
Chiefs and the Tigers. Dan is a member
of Congregation Beth Shalom.
